Militia Forum Concerned about Violence Following Bundy Ranch Showdown
In response to the actions taken in in Nevada by the US government’s Bureau of Land Management (BLM), members of a militia forum have generated multiple threads that called for the support of the Bundy Ranch and action from the Nevada militia.
Since April 9, 2014 the participants on a popular militia forum have created four discussion threads all appearing to ponder whether violent action would occur and if it would lead to a popular uprising in the country.
In thread “seems like the BLM wants to curtail cattle raising in this country,” which is the largest of the four, a user announced that the, “Nevada militia just gave the green light to go in for support of the Bundy Ranch.” This announcement led to posters continuing to condemn the government and urging action, with the discussion starter posting: “so begins the sagebrush rebellion.” Additionally, a poster queried if the timing of Bundy Ranch was related to the planned demonstration Operation American Spring, which is scheduled for May 16.
Two of the remaining three discussions feature users’ opinions on the activity occurring in Clark County Nevada. In the thread “U.S. government snipers, militarized police with automatic weapons ..........,” one alleged militia member declares that the “federal government is out of control yet again, staging a heavily militarized siege of the Bundy cattle ranch in Nevada.” While on April 10, a discussion starter stated in his post ““RUBY RIDGE 2.0 playing out in Clark County Nevada,”: “Keep a close eye on the goings on in Clark County Nevada over this one; we are seeing the opening salvo and it is being fired by the Government not some right wing extremist as they will claim. WE THE PEOPLE have had enough of the over reaching and tyrannical acts perpetrated under the current regime and the sweet smell of change is in the air. Make no mistake about it blood is in the water and the sharks are circling!”
The last thread, entitled “Bundy Ranch Standoff Explained (it's about the oil)”, started on April 11, forum member Wizard provides a link to a YouTube video by the same name that was posted by Adam Kokesh. The video, which is part of his talk-show “Adam vs The Man,” asserts that the American government is stealing and killing Mr. Bundy’s cows, as well as that their real reasons for doing this are oil. In addition, the user writes: “Still think its about cows?”

This is how Mr. Bundy's daughter explains it:
My great grandpa bought the rights to the Bunkerville allotment back in 1887. Then he sold them to my grandpa who then turned them over to my dad in 1972. These men bought and paid for their rights to the range and also built water storage, fences and roads to assure the survival of their cattle, all with their own money, not with tax dollars. This right to the land use is called preemptive rights. Somewhere down the line, to keep the cows from over grazing, came the Bureau of Land Management. They were supposed to assist the ranchers in the management of their ranges. The ranchers paid a yearly allotment, which was to be used to pay the BLM wages and to help with repairs and improvement of the ranches. My dad did pay his grazing fees for years to the BLM until they were no longer using his fees to help him and to improve. Instead, they began using the money against the ranchers. They bought all the rest of the ranchers in the area out with their own grazing fees. When they offered to buy my dad out for a penance he said “no thanks” and then fired them because they weren't doing their job.

Bundy, 67, who has been a rancher all his life, accuses BLM of stampeding over on his rights.
“This is a lot bigger deal than just my cows,” Bundy told FoxNews.com. “It’s a statement for freedom and liberty and the Constitution.”
The fight involves a 600,000-acre area under BLM control called Gold Butte, near the Utah border. The vast and rugged land is the habitat of the protected desert tortoise, and the land has been off-limits for cattle since 1998. Five years before that, when grazing was legal, Bundy stopped paying federal fees for the right.
“For more than two decades, cattle have been grazed illegally on public lands in northeast Clark County,” the BLM said in a statement. “BLM and (the National Park Service) have made repeated attempts to resolve this matter administratively and judicially. Impoundment of cattle illegally grazing on public lands is an option of last resort.”
This statement says Bundy stopped paying federal fees 5 yrs before the land was designated "off-limits" for cows.
Why is there no dispute over who owns the land? I have nave not read except in Q's post of any other party owning this land cept BLM.....now we hear that, what BLM was called in to help manage it, and he fired them?
Where's the deed to the land?
If an ancestor turned over the ownership of this property to the government agency sometime in the past. If he does have a deed to the property, Why isn't this Rancher getting lawyered up?
What is this offer to buy out the rancher?

If it is BLM Land and he stopped paying the grazing fees......he doesn't have too much to stand on. And grazing illegally isn't looking like an upstanding citizen being harassed by the big powerful Fed.

Hi Ed I just heard Nevada militia just gave the green light to go in for support of the Bundy Ranch.
This is pure and simple Agenda 21 take over of private property. He is the last Rancher left in this area. They have run out the rest already. This could very well be a turning point and yes our American Spring.

Robbie, Mr. Bundy has been fighting the federal government over grazing rights for twenty years. The only reason this came to a head when it did was that the tree huggers threatened to sue if BLM didn't get the cattle out of there. Think Agenda 21 here.

Yes Ed, I know that. It is my understanding that his family bought the land that he is now trying to protect years ago & have cut roads and built water lines tanks,windmills to get the water where needed. That the Feds have killed turtles that they claim to now protect.That the family already had water rights.

Not sure how many have been watching this incident here in Clark County Nevada on the Bundy Ranch but we are looking at the makings of Ruby Ridge 2.0 and the nations Militias are not going to stand for it.
The Bundy family has a cattle ranch out here about 90 miles north of Las Vegas near the Arizona state border and have been here since 1877. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) controls large tracts of land through the US in 640 square acre tracts; or 1 square mile, and this is all public land open to use by all Americans for many things. (i.e. hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, grazing cattle, open ranging etc.)
The Bundy’s have been grazing their cattle here since 1877; well before the inception of the BLM; in fact 69 years before as the BLM was not constituted until 1946, and have an established right to do so.
Back in 1998 the BLM decided that they needed to protect the “endangered” Desert Tortoise and ordered Bundy to remove his cattle from the BLM controlled land. Bundy rightfully refused as he has every right to graze his cattle on this public land; besides he’s grand fathered in and can claim squatters rights since his family has been grazing this land for 137 years. 69 years before the BLM came into the picture.
As of late there has been a growing pressure by the BLM to remove Bundy from the land he rightly uses and have trumped up bogus fees they claim he owes and back dated them a few decades and used this to obtain a court order to move in and seize his cattle for payment.
Right now there are over 200 armed Federal Agents illegally trespassing upon the Bundy Ranch and have begun rustling his cattle and transported them to an out of State Slaughter house to keep killed, processed and sold on the open market.
In recent days Bundy’s son was arrested for taking photographs of Snipers and other BLM Law Enforcement personal. Something that he high courts ruled several years ago was a right protected under the 1st Amendment stating that it is the right and duty of all citizens to record and document the actions of all public officials in the performance of their duties.
Yesterday there was a bit of a dust up between US Park Rangers, the Bundys and protestors showing support for the Bundy family where as one of the Bundys was tasered multiple times, another was struck by a USPR vehicle and thrown to the ground as well as several other people on foot struck by these Police Vehicles in an attempt to push the crown back these Rangers utilized Tasers, Police Dogs, Vehicles and intimidation to try and force the gooberments will on these people and ultimately the protesters wont his round as the BLM’s storm troopers where forced to retreat.
There has been a call put out to all free thinking Americans whom support the US Constitution and are fed up with the direction this gooberment is taking our country. And many have answered the call; off duty Law Enforcement Officials and Militia members from all across the US are right now descending upon the Bundy Ranch to support and shield them from the tyrannical acts of the rouge government element.
The sad part is the original stated reason for removing the Bundy heard from the lawful grazing area was to protect the Desert Tortoise is no longer a valid claim as just this week the BLM issued a statement that they could not longer afford to protect this endangered species and rather than allow nature to run its course and allow these Desert Tortoise to follow gods plan they have decided to send out sniper teams to hunt down and eradicate this endangered species so they would not have to spend money to protect them any longer. Essentially protect them into extinction.
