Citing historic Ramadan battles in the time of the Prophet and more recently in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Chechnya, and elsewhere, the lead editorial calls for an “eminent deed – the Jihad” at an “eminent time – Ramadan. . . . Abu Hajer is gone, leaving behind him for our use, an encyclopedia of his military trainings and golden advices. He is gone after having trained an immense number of Islam youth in Afghanistan, Algeria, Bosnia, Somalia and lately in the Arab Peninsula. Those young men will follow in his footsteps.
