Jihadist Announces Death of Tunisian Fighter Moez Garsalloui

{Image: Moez Garsalloui}

A Waziristan-based fighter announced that Moez Garsalloui, the husband of Moroccan-Belgian jihadist Malika El Aroud, was killed in a raid and had served as the leader of Jund al-Khilafah. In a series of three messages posted on the Shumukh al-Islam forum on October 15, 2012, a jihadist relayed reports from the fighter, Abu al-Laith al-Waziri, about the death of Moez Garsalloui AKA Moezuddin al-Qayrawani, and his biography. According to the reports, Garsalloui, a Tunisian fighter in the Afghan-Pakistan region, and a member of jihadist forums with the usernames "Jund al-Khilafah" and "al-Qayrawani," provided explosives and military training to fighters and had participated in the kidnapping of Swiss journalists. In particular, Abu al-Laith noted that Garsalloui had trained some Kazakh fighters so they could return to Kazakhstan in order to do jihad there, perhaps referring to those who acted under the Jund al-Khilafah banner.

Following is a translation of the message postings:

Martyrdom of Commander Abu Moez al-Tunisi, the Activist with the Username Jund al-Khilafah or al-Qayrawani

News about the Martyrdom of the Mujahid Brother Abu Moez al-Tunisi, Emir [Leader] of Jund al-Khilafa who was Known in the Jihadist Networks as al-Qayrawani - Qasf Gha'shim [Brutal Bombing]

In the Name of Allah, the most Gracious and Merciful

Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. Peace and prayer be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all of his Companions... and thereafter:

The Almighty said: "But those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost. * He will guide them and set right their state. * And admit them to Paradise which He has made known to them." [Muhammad 47:4-6]

With spirits attached to the mercy of Allah, and hearts content with His destiny and will, we received the painful news about the killing of another hero of the heroes of this Ummah, and one of its best, the emigrant mujahid Moez Garsalloui, while he was in a group of believers in a cowardly, treacherous raid. Indeed, we are from Allah and to Him we return.

Our knight dismounted and he fulfilled what he promised Allah, as we think of him, after a long journey full of emigration and jihad. He sold himself for his religion and his brethren, and Allah was generous with him and granted him martyrdom. So congratulations to him.

By Allah, we think that he did his part in preaching for the religion of Allah and doing jihad for that cause, with his life, family and money, until Allah fated his martyrdom. We consider him on the side of Allah among those who were talked about in this Hadith narrated by Anas bin Malik, when he said: {Hadith}.

So, we ask Allah to grant him the highest rank in Paradise and bless his blood and body parts, and to help us and this wounded Ummah, have mercy on our wounded through the likes of those men, and compensate us with what is better for their loss, and to grant him what he wanted and accept him among the martyrs, and to comfort his relatives and his companions on the path, reward them greatly, grant them a firm foothold, and compensate them well for what happened.

"And Allah has full power and control over His Affairs, but most of men know not." [From Yusuf 12:21]

Abu al-Laith al-Waziri || Waziristan

---------------

He, may Allah the Almighty accept him, used to be active on our sublime network, Shumukh al-Islam, and he is the husband of the Moroccan imprisoned sister Malika El Aroud, may Allah release her.

May Allah accept our Sheikh Abu al-Walid, Commander Abu al-Bara'a, and Abu Mu'idah, and the rest of the Muslim martyrs.

---------------

He escaped, may Allah have mercy on him, from two other bombing. He was inside the market in Miran Shah, North Waziristan. He was on top of the list of those wanted by Interpol. He is known in Europe with the name 'White Wolf' and he is the second husband of the Moroccan sister Malika El Aroud, may Allah release her from the prisons of the filthy Belgians. Her first husband is the one who carried out the successful, big operation against the ruined, ugly faced one, Massoud, who was plotting to kill Sheikh Usama, may Allah have mercy on him.

Our brother Abu Moez, may Allah have mercy on him, had his center open to all the brothers and he trained in explosives in particular. He also gathered some Kazakh brothers and trained them in several arts for them to return to their homes and do jihad there. He used to follow up with the global events, especially in the Islamic countries, and he hoped to work in Tunisia and Europe. He, may Allah have mercy on him, was one of those who participated in the operation to capture the two Swiss journalists, and Allah knows best. So we ask Allah to accept him among the martyrs.

This is what I was able to write quickly about our brother, and Allah is the Helper. Regarding the story of his deployment, his emigration, his long calamity in Tunisia, and his great lessons, the place here is small and the tongue is unable to express about such people. So will you learn, O you who sit behind[?]

Abu al-Laith al-Waziri, may Allah the Almighty preserve him
