In order to stop the U.S. airstrikes against positions of the Islamic State (IS) in northern Iraq, jihadists suggested IS fighters strike oil wells in Erbil and elsewhere, and also kidnap Americans and hit “sensitive” areas to ruin foreign investment and drive away companies.

Jihadist Suggests Spoofing GPS Signals, Jamming to Combat Drones

Inspired by a report from 2012 that University of Texas researchers hijacked a drone by spoofing signals sent to its GPS receiver, and a report from 2011 about North Korea jamming a US military spy plane's GPS and forcing it to land, a jihadist suggested that fighters try the same methods.
