German Pro-IS Telegram Channel Threatens Attacks “All Over the World” Following Attack in Nice

In the wake of the attack in Nice, France, a German-language pro-Islamic State (IS) Telegram channel threatened that “faithful lions” will “terrorize the disbelievers in Europe, in the USA, Canada, Australia, and all over the world” in retaliation for the coalition bombings in Syria and Iraq.

The message was posted on July 15, 2016 to the “Niwelt” Telegram channel, one day following the Nice attack. Regarding the attack, the channel, which regularly supplies German translations of IS news and propaganda, stated, “The brothers in France today have once again shown that the Ummah [nation] is one body!” It followed up, asserting that lone wolves “have the right to terrorize” due to the “Crusaders” bombings:

As long as the Crusaders continue to drop bombs on Muslims, and support the Arab tyrants in the killing of Muslims, then Muslims have the right to terrorize the disbelievers in Europe, in the USA, Canada, Australia, and all over the world.

The post then stated that, though lone wolves may not have “phosphorus bombs or cluster bombers to drop on your civilians,” they will go to any means necessary to carry out attacks:

We don’t have phosphorus bombs or cluster bombers to drop on your civilians.

But we have assault rifles and explosive belts. And if we don’t have these, then we have LKW’s [Lastkraftwagen (lorries)], a lighter, a knife, or simply our hands.

Furthermore, the post named Europe’s “women and children” specifically and declared that lone wolves “will kill you all wherever they find you!” It concluded, stating:

When the Muslims in Syria and Iraq suffer from the bombs in France, so too will the crusader nation of France suffer from the terror of the mujahideen there.

Following is a translation of the message:

As long as the Crusaders continue to drop bombs on Muslims, and support the Arab tyrants in the killing of Muslims, then Muslims have the right to terrorize the disbelievers in Europe, in the USA, Canada, Australia, and all over the world.

We don’t have phosphorus bombs or cluster bombers to drop on your civilians.

But we have assault rifles and explosive belts. And if we don’t have these, then we have LKW’s [Lastkraftwagen (lorries)], a lighter, a knife, or simply our hands.

The faithful lions in Europe will terrorize you again. They will terrorize your women and children, and they will kill you all wherever they find you!

This is the just recompense for the oppressors, those who think that the blood of Muslims is cheap, and those who think that Muslims will not fight when the French and others slaughter the Muslims in Syria.

The brothers in France today have once again shown that the Ummah is one body!

When the Muslims in Syria and Iraq suffer from the bombs in France, so too will the crusader nation of France suffer from the terror of the mujahideen there.
