In the hours after the Islamic State (IS) claimed credit for the deadly bombing at the Manchester Arena in England, pro-IS media groups promoted the attack and its like in an infographic and incitement poster. One group, Yaqeen Media, published on its Telegram channel on May 23, 2017, Arabic and English infographics tallying the casualties from the blast, and identifying the method and target. Another group, Da’im al-I’alamiyya, took a quote from IS suicide bomber Abu Shu’ayb al-Mosuli addressed to Muslims in West, and provided the original Arabic and an English translation in a poster. It reads:

O my brothers, if coming to the land of the Khilafah is difficult for you, then heads of kufr are right in front of you where you are. I swear to you by Allah, not a night should pass, but your swords are dropping with kafir blood. Trust Allah, that every drop of blood shed there relieves the pressure on us here.

By Allah, my brothers, support the religion of Allah! By Allah, He will ask you about every Muslim woman, every killed child, woman, and old man. Allah will ask you about the blood, wealth, and honor of Muslims. Move suddenly, by Allah! Move suddenly, by Allah! Move suddenly, by Allah!

The pro-Islamic State (IS) Nashir News Agency published an infographic ridiculing the cost of the “Massive Ordnance Air Blast” (MOAB) relative not only to its cost, but to the soda can explosive used by the group’s Sinai Province to take down a Russian airliner in October 2015.
