Ehsansullah Ehsan, the official spokesman for the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) offshoot Jamat-ul-Ahrar, suggested that the deadly attacks in Paris are justified on the grounds that Muslims were killed in French airstrikes.
Using the popular Twitter hashtag #ParisAttacks, Ehsan tweeted on November 14, 2015: “France You feel the pain of their Muslims who were martyred in your Air Force bombs.... If not, you will realize..”
After the January 2015 attack on the offices of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo in Paris, Ehsan had tweeted praise and congratulations for the executors and organizers.
