The Islamic Army in Iraq, one of the primary insurgency groups in Iraq, issued today, Thursday, April 5, 2007, a 9-page statement ostensibly responding to a speech by the Emir of the Believers in the Islamic State of Iraq, Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, but actually bringing to light wrongdoings of the Islamic State against Mujahideen in other brigades, and Sunni Muslim civilians.

Al-Qaeda ideologue Lewis Attiya Allah authored a hastily written statement today, Thursday, April 5, 2007, published to jihadist forums such as the password-protected al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Hesbah Network, regarding the Islamic Army in Iraq’s response to a speech by the Emir of the Believers in the Islamic State of Iraq, Abu Omar al-Baghdadi, and their accusations of wrongdoing by al-Qaeda in Iraq, a component group of the State.

Al-Boraq, an Internet jihadist presence consisting of a password-protected al-Qaeda-affiliated forum and a media division, and has for some time collaborated with the Islamic Army in Iraq, issued a statement today, Friday, April 6, 2007, regarding the Islamic Army’s response to Abu Omar al-Baghdadi and the Islamic State of Iraq.
