In Issue 5 of Islamic State (IS)-linked "Shabaab al-Khilafah" (Youth of the Caliphate) magazine, its publishers boasted of having over 6,000 followers, and featured an article insulting the fighting spirit of American soldiers while commending that of IS military personnel.


While the Islamic State's (IS) al-Hayat Media Center broke its streak of consistent releases of weekly statistical breakdown videos on group operations, the IS' al-Naba featured the data in an infographic, identifying 231 casualties in 68 attacks between January 17-23, 2019.


The media unit behind Risalah newsletter, a publication featuring articles by fighters from "Islamic State Jammu & Kashmir (ISJK)," transformed it into a full magazine in the style of the IS' Rumiyah, and pledged that it will "act as a medium of communication between the soldiers of the Khilafah and the common masses".

The Islamic State (IS) provided as an "exclusive" in Naba 161, details of the attack on the Shabaab al-Mujahideen Movement in northeastern Somalia, and claimed that leaders of the al-Qaeda (AQ) branch attempted to cover up the losses they incurred.


In the seventh issue of "Risalah" newsletter, a periodical from the self-described "Islamic State Jammu & Kashmir" (ISJK), an article attributed to a Kashmiri fighter urged fellow countrymen in the local security forces to "repent" and carry out inside attacks, or await "hellfire".
