In a post-Capitol Siege interview with Bloomberg, SITE director Rita Katz says the trajectory of the Far Right movement in the U.S. is very similar to that of ISIS, as "both were formed out of rejection of their movements’ establishments, both were adept at leveraging social media for recruitment and setting up vast online infrastructures, and both have prioritized action over a coherent ideology."
